The following are the contents of the individual didactic modules:
MODULE 1 - FUNDAMENTALS OF ILLUMINOTECNICA
Photometric quantities, units of measurement and relationship between them. Illumination from point sources, linear and extended. Natural lighting, color and color rendering. Light sources and control systems. Lighting fixtures. The objectives of good lighting. Examples of design and calculation: isotropic sources, lighting of a mirror, of a bookcase, of the side aisle of a church, of a hotel room, of an office, of a library, of a restaurant, of a blackboard, of a painting protected by a glass plate, a bookshelf in a shop. Integration between artificial light and natural light. Exterior lighting: Aims of street lighting. Night incidents and economic conditions of street lighting. Urban lighting. The Municipal Plan of Light. Night visibility on the roads of traffic. UNI standard. Determination of the categories of reference, of the project categories and of the operating categories for the types of roads. Arrangement of luminous centers. System diagrams. General project (illumination). Punctual calculation of illuminance and luminance. Urban lighting, monuments, parks and gardens. Ambient lighting. Types of devices and sources for different applications. Measures taken and comparison of services and charges. Examples.

MODULE 2 - CAD FOR ILLUMINATION
Fundamentals of real-time and photorealistic computer graphics. Software interface. Creation of the environment, import, modeling, furniture, materials management, textures, equipment, import and management of photometric files, calculation and representation of results in a project report.
