DIMI – Design Innovation made in Italy. Connecting India and Italy through design

Course

The main objectives of the course were: to promote design as a bridge between the Italian and Indian culture; to promote design innovation to strengthen collaboration between Italian and Indian designers and enterprises; to understand the value inside the made in Italy offer; to broaden the international network of the Italian Design System; to identify new opportunities for internationalization of enterprises. The project’s aim was to experiment the belief that it is possible to initiate international processes through designers; young designers who have the possibility to understand the similarities and differences between two countries (in this case Italy and India) and therefore are able to define innovative ways of collaboration.
