Lighting Design per i Beni Culturali

Course

As part of the course will be presented the types of Leds for cultural heritage (source types commonly used, characteristics to be checked when choosing a LED product):

 

  • Link between efficiency and colour rendering.
    Advantages in their use in terms of absence of UV and IR radiation.
  • Characteristics of the products currently on the market in terms of luminous flux, photometric distribution, CCT.
  • Comparison between retrofit solutions and dedicated products.
  • Description of the current CRI index and the limits of this system with respect to certain types of LED sources.
  • Overview of the various chromatic rendering indices proposed in the literature according to the different design applications.
  • Products and technologies to illuminate cultural heritage.
  • The museum container: features and devices.
  • Designing light in the field of cultural heritage.

The course (8 hours) will be held in Italian.
