Carolina Clini - Diego Espinoza
Mangera Yvars Architects is an International studio based in London with branch offices in Barcelona, ​​Dubai and Doha. The Studio focuses on the themes of sustainable urban design, and architecture is no longer conceived as an isolated object but is part of a wider context of landscape.
Giuliana Filippone
Architectures of the Studio are afftected from the expressive influence of topological works and the impressionist ambitions of minimalist architecture. Sotamaa's work has been widely published. Kivi Sotamaa is now Visiting Professor at the UCLA Department of Architecture and Urban Design.
Alessandra Garrubba
Born in 1999 in Los Angeles from the collaboration between the two partners Marcelo Spina and Georgine Huljich, Studio Patterns is an international design and research company, known for its architecture intention that blends the most advanced digital approaches to design. They own numerous international awards, publications and exhibitions.
  Matteo Mariano - Filippo Ragusa
Plasma Studio, Pechino
Internationally appreciated, Plasma Studio was born in London in 1999 from the collaboration of Eva Castro and Holger Kehne, and it is known for the use of shapes and geometries, which present continuous bending and curvature of the surfaces.

EMBT Miralles-Tagliabue, Barcellona
Starting from the collaboration between Benedetta Tagliabue and Enric Miralles, EMBT has developed important international works such as the Santa Caterina Market and Diagonal Mar Park, in Barcelona, ​​the Parliament in Edinburgh, the Utrecht City Hall and the Hamburg Music School.

Founded in 1980, the Studio is active in the field of architecture and engineering. Design is seen as a research activity to be carried out in close synergy with the client. Currently, the company staff is composed by 42 architects and engineers, 12 partners, plus 42 additional employees within affiliated companies.
Francesco Prete
LAND, Milano
LAND, Landscape Nature Architecture Development, is a group of professionals serving landscape architecture, founded in 1990 in Milan by Andreas Kipar and Giovanni Sala. As an interdisciplinary Studio, it is built by naturalists, environmental engineers, architects, urban planners, designers and designers.
Federica Primerano
Founded in 2007 by Architects Luca Bigliardi and Luca Gobbo, PRINCIPIOATTIVO evolved into the PRINCIPIOATTIVO Architecture Group srl in 2014. It is a creative laboratory rather than a project management company, offering architectural solutions for residential, commercial, exhibition and tertiary sectors.

  Nov. 21, 2016. Prof. Karl Chu - Pratt Institute, New York. Director of METAXY architecture firm. Before teaching at the School of Architecture at the Pratt Institute, he founded and directed the Institute for Genetic Architecture at the Columbia University. He was co-director of the Biodigital Architecture Programme at the ESARQ Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, Barcelona. He conducts research in the field of genetic architecture and ontologies for architecture of possible worlds. He has taught, published and exhibited internationally.
  Dec. 5, 2016. Prof. Roberto Camagni - Politecnico di Milano. Professor of Urban Economics, is director of the research group on Regional and Urban Economics. An expert in regional and urban development, territorial analysis of the diffusion of technology and innovation, assessment of urban transformation processes. He has carried out research for the European Union, the OECD, the French Ministère de l'Equipement, the Department for Community Policies of the Presidency of the Council and a number of regions and municipalities in Italy and Europe.
  Jan. 23, 2017. Prof. Roland Snooks - RMIT. Founder and partner of kokkugia, a group that explores generative design methodologies and the ability to self-organise of complex systems. Adopting multi-agent algorithms, his research adds to the project the logics of collective intelligence and swarm architecture. He supervises the Architectural Robotics Lab at the RMIT University. He has taught and lectured at numerous international universities, including Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, SCI-Arc, Pratt Institute, UCLA, USC, Harvard, Yale, Aalto University, Polytechnic University of Milan and AA.DRL.
  Mar. 20, 2017. Prof. Tarek Naga - Naga Studio Architecture + Urbanism, Los Angeles. “Our work, experiments and research in the field of nature, features the notion of the architecture of the future.  We strive to create research avenues that will challenge the current status quo in architecture.”  Naga has lectured widely at major universities and academies. 
  Apr. 26, 2017. Prof. Herwig Baumgartner - SCI-Arc, Los Angeles. Graduated in music and new media, he studied architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He currently teaches design in the three-year programme and Master at the SCI-Arc master in Los Angeles and previously at the University of California (UCLA). On a professional level, after the experience at Gehry Partners as an associate and project architect, in 2000 he founded in Los Angeles, BplusU for which he is both partner and design principal. He has collaborated with Richard Serra in the creation of large-scale sculptures in New Zealand, Naples, Toronto and San Francisco.

Tuition and Fees
Total charges for the Specializing Master are € 10.000,00 (including Politecnico di Milano enrollment fee of € 500).

Issues of complexity, nomadism, environmental and energy resources, the crisis for cities, and the gradual acceptance of ecological compatibility principles.

Teaching Plan

The Specializing Master will begin October 2018 and will end October 2019.
