class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to advance at remarkable speed, the global conversation is shifting from <strong>what AI <em>can<\/em> do<\/strong> to <strong>what it\u00a0<i>should do<\/i><\/strong>. Governments, researchers, and practitioners are increasingly seeking ways to ensure that AI serves the public interest \u2014promoting <strong>equity<\/strong>, <strong>inclusion<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>sustainability<\/strong> rather than reinforcing past mistakes or structural biases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">In this <strong>AI4Gov Dialogue<\/strong>, we take stock of the growing global momentum around <strong>AI for Good<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Drawing insights from recent international events: the\u00a0<\/span><a title=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/en\/articles\/unesco-conference-capacity-building-ai-and-digital-transformation-public-sector\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/en\/articles\/unesco-conference-capacity-building-ai-and-digital-transformation-public-sector\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"3\"><b>UNESCO Conference on Capacity Building on AI and Digital Transformation in the Public Sector<\/b><\/a>\u00a0(Paris, 4-5 June 2025), the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/unpsf2025.org\/agenda\" href=\"https:\/\/unpsf2025.org\/agenda\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"4\"><b>United Nations Public Services Forum 2025<\/b><\/a>\u00a0(Samarkand, 23-25 June 2025), the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/en\/forum-ethics-ai\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/en\/forum-ethics-ai\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"5\"><b>UNESCO<\/b>\u00a0<b>2025 Global Forum on the Ethics of AI<\/b><\/a><b>\u00a0(<\/b>Bangkok, 24-27 June 2025), and the \u201ccombined\u201d\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/net4\/wsis\/forum\/2025\" href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/net4\/wsis\/forum\/2025\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"6\"><b>World Summit on the Information Society High-Level Event (WSIS+20)<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/aiforgood.itu.int\/\" href=\"https:\/\/aiforgood.itu.int\/\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"7\"><b>AI for Good Global Summit<\/b><\/a>\u00a0(Geneva, 7-11 July 2025) the roundtable will bring together voices from these events to explore:\u00a0<b><i>what does it really take to make AI work for people and society?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">During the dialogue, the following questions will be addressed<\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How can we move from high-level ethical principles to concrete practices and guidance that support their implementation in real-world contexts?<\/li>\n<li>What kinds of skills do public organizations need to govern and use AI responsibly and how can these competencies support deeper, long-term transformation of public institutions?<\/li>\n<li>How can public organizations address the risks of adopting AI \u2014 both in their internal processes and in the services they deliver \u2014 to ensure that innovation strengthens, rather than undermines, public service legitimacy and institutional trust?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here are the speakers who will take the Danesi<\/strong>, Professor and researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Civil Law at the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires<\/li>\n<li><strong>Luana Lo Piccolo<\/strong>, Senior Advisor on AI Governance and Legal Strategy, Expert of the EU Plenary for the first AI Code of Practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><strong>Gianluca Misuraca<\/strong> (AI4Gov
