Participants can choose from two different winter school programs, each tailored to a specific area of design expertise:
Cultural Heritage and UX is a two-week intensive winter school in Milan at POLI.design, the design-led institution of Politecnico di Milano, exploring how museology, heritage studies, and UX design come together to transform how people experience cultural spaces. Through lectures, hands-on workshops, and field visits to leading cultural institutions, this design course invites you to reinterpret cultural narratives through the lens of user experience.
Visual Narratives is a two-week intensive design winter school in Milan at POLI.design, the design-led institution of Politecnico di Milano, exploring the shop window as a transdisciplinary design device — a threshold between city and architecture, commerce and culture. This Italian design course is built for curious, creative minds who want to read, design, and rethink the street-facing spaces that shape everyday urban life.
All classes will be held at Politecnico di Milano – Bovisa Campus, with opportunities to work directly with renowned professors and design professionals. Each program features exclusive field visits to key cultural and design venues and concludes with a final project presentation — a chance to showcase your work, connect with peers, and expand your international network.
