Bio

Designer and university lecturer in circular economy, systems thinking and regeneration, with a mission to critically and creatively rethink the fossil-fuel-based-linear-world we give for granted, she works with global organisations to make circularity a reality, mostly – but not only – in the food sector, with the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact and the City of Milan. She advises climate-tech startups and companies through Forest Valley.
A designer by trade, she is convinced that the designers’ role is essential in the transition to regenerative economies: instead of curbing or fixing problems – namely waste and pollution – after they happen, we should stop designing them in the first place.
Before the pandemic, Alice has been a climate design studio co-founder in Singapore, UX designer at IBM iX in Shanghai and Hong Kong, and UX expert at the Digital Transformation Team of the Italian Government in Rome. Alice is a EU Climate Pact Ambassador.
