Bio

Mattia Ciurnelli is an Italian designer and founder of SuperForma, a design and digital fabrication studio based in Milan. His work focuses on circular production models, combining advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing with sustainable materials like bioplastics and recycled composites. Through SuperForma, he develops projects that bridge design, research, and local production networks, with a particular interest in material innovation and circularity.
Mattia collaborates with academic institutions, foundations, and companies to explore new approaches to sustainable design, from educational programs to applied research. His projects often involve the reuse of waste materials, transforming them into new functional or expressive objects. He has more than ten years of experience in design and digital manufacturing, and actively promotes design as a tool for environmental and social regeneration.
