Malu Lücking is a biodesigner working at the intersection of design, biology, and systems thinking to imagine regenerative futures. She studied Biodesign at Central Saint Martins and gained experience at pioneering material start-ups in the UK, including Ponda and Biohm. In Berlin, she co-founded Mujo, a start-up developing algae-based packaging solutions to rethink circularity. Her academic engagement includes leading the Material Research Hub at MOME in Budapest; currently, she is pursuing a PhD at Politecnico di Milano. Bridging research and practice, Malu explores ecological questions through material experimentation. Her work has been exhibited internationally, highlighting her commitment to sustainable design and alternative ways of relating to the natural world.
