Bio
Dottorando con un background in Product Service System Design e Management Engineering.
La sua ricerca si concentra su come il design può supportare le aziende nella creazione di innovazione, comprendendo come superare le barriere che le aziende possono affrontare nell’adottare il design thinking. Allo stesso tempo, sta lavorando a progetti che riguardano l’imprenditorialità, sostenendo le start-up nel combinare il binomio design e business, e comprendendo il ruolo del design all’interno delle start-up tecnologiche. Attualmente collabora con il Dipartimento di Design del Politecnico di Milano, dove lavora come designer e ricercatore coinvolto in progetti di ricerca europei (Horizon 2020, Interreg, Erasmus+). Le sue principali linee di ricerca sono Design Thinking, Strategic Design, Service Design, Design Management e Entrepreneurship. Negli ultimi anni, Gianluca sta insegnando materie legate alla sua attività di ricerca sia nella Scuola del Design-Politecnico di Milano che a POLI.design.

His research is focusing on how design can support companies in creating innovation,understanding how to overcome the barriers that companies may face in adoptingdesign thinking. At the same time, he is working on projects that deal with entrepreneurship, supporting start-upsin combining the design and the business binomial, and understanding the role of design insidetechnology start-ups. Actually, he is collaborating with the Department of Design of Politecnico diMilano where he is working as designer and researcher involved in European research projects(Horizon 2020, Interreg, Erasmus+). His main streams of research are Design Thinking, Strategic Design, Service Design, Design Management and Entrepreneurship. In the last years, Gianluca isteaching subjects related to his research activity both in the School of Design–Politecnico diMilano and in POLI.design Consortium.
