Bio

Hang Su is a PhD candidate in Design at Politecnico di Milano whose research focuses on the intersectional area of digital transformation and Design for Sustainability, with specific aims to investigate and design the nexus between smart-mobile-device systems and Sustainable Product–Service Systems (S.PSS) in promoting sustainability. He earned a BA in Industrial Design from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing (2018), and an MA with Distinction in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London (2022). His practice-led projects have been recognised with several international accolades, including the Red Dot, iF Design, and Green Design Awards, etc. Combining academic rigor with design experience, he seeks to translate sustainability theory into digital-driven design strategies for industry and society.
