Ico Migliore, architetto, tre volte Premio Compasso d’Oro, è professore al Politecnico di Milano, Chair Professor alla Dongseo University di Busan (Corea del Sud) e membro del Comitato Scientifico della Fondazione Franco Albini.
Con Mara Servetto è co-founder di Migliore+Servetto, studio di progettazione con sede a Milano. Numerosi i riconoscimenti internazionali, tra cui 13 Red Dot Design Award, 2 German Design Award, 3 FX Interior Design Awards e 3 International Design Awards. Ha firmato interventi per alcune delle principali destinazioni culturali internazionali, come il Museo Egizio di Torino, il Museo Chopin di Varsavia e il Museo Europeo di Schengen in Lussemburgo.

Da sempre attento alla rigenerazione urbana e al recupero del territorio, lo Studio lavora da oltre vent’anni in Asia, dove ha realizzato il Blue Line Park a Busan (Corea del Sud): un parco pubblico lineare dalla forte connotazione esperienziale, affacciato sul mare e ricavato dalla riconversione di 5 km di ferrovia. Attualmente è in corso di realizzazione il nuovo building della Joshibi University di Tokyo, concepito come hub di incontro e interfaccia tra università e città.

Ha preso parte a mostre internazionali, tra cui: la XXII Triennale Internazionale di Milano “Broken Nature: Design takes on Human Survival” (2019), di cui è stato progettista, art director e co-curatore del Padiglione Italia “4 Elements/Taking Care”; la Biennale di Seoul; la “4th Seoul Biennale for Architecture and Urbanism”; la Gwangju Design Biennale (2025) e la XIX Biennale di Architettura di Venezia – “Terræ Aquæ” (2025).

Tra le ultime pubblicazioni “Museum Seed” (Electa, 2024), che tratta il tema degli spazi di cultura come sistemi attivatori capaci di generare un’evoluzione nel tempo sul territorio e nelle comunità.

Ico Migliore, architect and three-time recipient of the Compasso d’Oro Award, is a Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, Chair Professor at Dongseo University in Busan (South Korea), and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Franco Albini.
Together with Mara Servetto, he co-founded Migliore+Servetto, a Milan-based design studio that has received numerous international awards, including 13 Red Dot Design Awards, 2 German Design Awards, 3 FX Interior Design Awards, and 3 International Design Awards. He has designed spaces for major international cultural destinations, such as the Egyptian Museum in Turin, the Chopin Museum in Warsaw, and the European Museum Schengen in Luxembourg.

Driven by a strong focus on urban regeneration and landscape transformation, the Studio has been active in Asia for over twenty years. Here, they completed the Blue Line Park in Busan (South Korea): a 5 km linear public park overlooking the sea, deeply experiential in nature and created by converting a disused railway line. Currently under construction is the building for the Joshibi University in Tokyo, conceived as a hub and interface between the university and the city.

He has taken part in major international exhibitions, including: the XXII International Triennale Exhibition of Milan “Broken Nature: Design takes on Human Survival” (2019), serving as designer, art director, and co-curator of the Italian Pavilion “4 Elements/Taking Care”; the Seoul Biennale; the “4th Seoul Biennale for Architecture and Urbanism”; the Gwangju Design Biennale (2025); and the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia – “Terræ Aquæ” (2025).
Among his latest publications is “Museum Seed” (Electa, 2024), which explores cultural spaces as activating systems capable of driving long-term evolution across local territories and communities.
