Laís Kantor Caserta began her studies in Digital Design in Brazil before moving to Madrid, where she continued her education while working simultaneously. In Madrid, she completed a Specializing Master in Creativity and later relocated to Italy. She went on to earn a degree in Pedagogy from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and also completed a Specializing Master in Designing for Sustainable Transition at PoliDesign.
Prof. Kantor currently serves as Professor at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and MOME Budapest, where she focuses on User Experience, Creative Direction, and Interaction Design. At IED, she teaches in the Master of Creative Direction, emphasizing hands-on learning in UI/UX and Design Thinking. At MOME, she leads project-based learning in the Interaction Design MA, guiding students through real-world brand challenges.
Her research and teaching activities are rooted in user-centered design, innovation strategy, and sustainable transitions, with a commitment to empowering future changemakers.
She is certified by IAAP in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).
Her work has been recognized by international design awards, including IF Awards and ADI Design Index, and her professional journey spans creative leadership roles in Europe and Brazil across agencies, startups, and academic institutions.
