Bio

Emmanuele Villani began working at the age of nineteen in product design and development under the mentorship of Enzo Mari, an encounter that profoundly shaped his approach to design. More than four decades later, his commitment to the discipline remains undiminished, enriched by extensive experience across products, interiors and architecture. Wood, stone, glass, iron and plastic constitute the fundamental materials of his work, today integrated with smart design expertise and connected technologies. His projects are realised under Officine Boiardo, his practice dedicated to furniture, product design, architecture and interiors.
Adjunct Professor on the Integrated Product Design course at the School of Design, Politecnico di Milano, he is committed to advancing a new, sustainable and intelligent way of living — one that enables people to live better and to find genuine enjoyment in everyday life.
