Smart Water

The event organized by POLI.design and Resideo dedicated to sustainability in water management

March 22nd from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm (CET)

SMART WATER, managed by POLI.design and Resideo, returns with a panel of international guests and a new theme: Sustainable Water Visions, to celebrate World Water Day 2022.

During the event global experts will share their 360-degree approach to innovation, capable of imagining original examples and actions for improving the management and use of water in the residential sector.

If you experience excessive consumption and waste, known or hidden leaks, or difficulties with water management, join us to discuss the challenges that companies face in in complying with the development guidelines and awareness campaigns as defined by the EU.

The event starts at 3.30 pm (CET), and will be moderated by the journalist and writer Fabio Deotto.

The speakers include:

Piet Dircke, Global Director for Climate Adaptation of Arcadis, a consultancy and project development company focused on sustainability in the field of civil and environmental engineering. Piet will talk about the importance of resilience in cities and will present some international case studies.
Renzo Rosso, Professor of Hydrology and Hydraulic Constructions at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA) at the Politecnico di Milano, who will analyze the new challenges in water cycle management
Andrea Cominola, Assistant Professor of Smart Water Networks at the Technische Universität Berlin, will talk about the adoption of digital technologies in the water sector and how this is able to improve the management of water supply and demand.
Mauricio Cardenas, architect founder of Studio Cardenas Conscious Design, will talk about the use and experimentation of natural materials in some micro-architectures; and the adoption of water as a functional element within the home.

To close the event, Resideo’s Global Sustainability Leader, Erin Woodward, will outline Resideo’s approach to sustainability.

The event will be online, on March 22nd at 3.30 pm (CET). During this roundtable, guests will share innovative insights and solutions related to the design, services and products for the management and consumption of water.
