The path STORE MANAGER presents itself at the appointment of the fifteenth edition confirming its priority objective: to form a new manager of the sales space at “three hundred and sixty degrees”, through an upgrade path that allows you to learn the most current systems of design, organization and management of the entire consumption space.

It does so by renewing its structure: the five modules of previous editions (The scenarios in the world of furniture, Marketing and Management, Communication, Preparation and Sales), which pass from three to two days each, is accompanied by a final module of three days, “Project work”, which will see participants engaged in the active design of the following during the training course in relation to the definition of a new sales space concept.
The course is organized by Innova.com in collaboration with Poli.design, Politecnico di Milano and in partnership with Federmobili.

Didactics

Training objectives

The aim of the course is to train managers able to move and learn the rules and new systems of design, organization and management of the entire consumption space.

Didactic Modules

Teaching is particularly active, aimed at maximizing the involvement of participants, through analysis and discussion of real cases, exercises and simulations.

Contents
The training course is developed in six modules:

a. Scenarios in the world of furniture (16 – 17 November 2015)
With an introductory character and an interdisciplinary identity, it is proposed to outline the context in which the point of sale of furniture is located today.

  • New scenarios of taste and living
  • Methods and forms of consumption
  • Strengths of the Italian furniture system
  • New concept of the store

b. Marketing and Management (30 November – 1 December 2015)
Deepen the strategic development and the economic and operational management of the furniture store to be able to successfully address the evolution of the distribution system.

  • Strategic development of the store
  • Positioning of the point of sale
  • Competitive analysis of the square
  • Point of sale management control

c. Communication (11 – 12 January 2016) Explore, through the declination of different approaches, the strategic role of communication in the design of the identity of the store.

  • Brand identity
  • Communication at the point of sale
  • Visual merchandising

d. Equipment (13 – 14 January 2016)
Deepen the issues related to the design of the store furniture.

  • Equipment tools and scenarios
  • Interior language
  • Set up with the light

e. Sale (18 – 19 January 2016)
Understand the role of the seller: less and less simple salesperson and more and more attentive customer service consultant.

  • Guarantees and compliance
  • Sales techniques: theory and simulations
  • Work organisation: methods and tools
  • Construction and management of customer portfolio
  • The retention

f. Trends and trends in international furniture markets (22 – 23 February 2015)

  • Living culture and consumer habits in the main foreign markets

Employment Opportunities

A multifaceted figure able to move in a transversal way on all the different aspects that a young entrepreneur and a furniture professional must be able to control today in order to plan and manage the business and the sales space. The path explores the many elements that make a furniture store a complex business project.

The course is addressed both to those who already work in the furniture sector, and to young graduates and graduates who decide to work in the sector.
