Design the Digital Strategy is a first level university Specializing Master of the Politecnico di Milano, an evolution of “Specializing Master SNID – Social Network Influence Design”, which was created with the objective of training professionals to plan, coordinate, and monitor business, marketing and digital communication strategies.

This Specializing Master is designed by people who see the future as a tangible opportunity for change and is led by a team of lecturers and professionals who bring into the classroom the experiences of today’s market.
The Specializing Master aims to train professionals able to design, coordinate and monitor business strategies, digital marketing and communication.
LISTENING, STRATEGY and MONITORING are the pillars of the process that will lead the class to create digital communication ecosystems in line with the values and objectives of the brand, with particular attention to the relationship between the company and the users of the network. The end user will be at the center of the strategic path, according to a User Centered Design approach. The outgoing figure will be able to design and manage digital transformation strategies for business, marketing and communication and can fill the following roles: Digital Strategist, Digital Project Manager, Digital Account and Digital Innovation Officer.

500 hours of in-company internships to experience what you have learnt during the Specializing Master in the field.
A final exam will formalize the path done by each student.
At the end of the course, students who pass the final examination will receive a joint first-level Specializing Master in “DESIGN THE DIGITAL STRATEGY. Design, marketing e comunicazione per la trasformazione digitale” from the Politecnico di Milano.
The Specializing Master in Design the Digital Strategy trains professionals able to devise and manage digital communication and marketing strategies and to coordinate the various figures necessary for the process. Thanks to the design approach and the ability to interpret the context developed during the Master, candidates will be able to design and manage digital transformation strategies for business, marketing and communication.
During the training the candidate acquires the necessary strategic and project management skills, the experience in the choice of communication languages and the mastery of technicality that allow him to fill different roles on the market:
Digital Strategist: one who defines new digital marketing and communication strategies;
Digital Officer: who sets the transformation in the company, identifies opportunities for innovation and evolves business models;
Digital Project Manager: the person who manages transformation projects and coordinates the various figures involved;
Digital Account: the person who manages the relationship with the customer and interprets the customer’s needs in the sales process of digital projects.
It is open to candidates holding a University Diploma or Degree in:
Economics and Business (including but not limited to: Economics, Finance and Corporate Law);
Humanities (including but not limited to: Philosophy, Sociology, Journalism, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Humanities in the Environment and Landscape, New Art Technologies);
Engineering; Design; Architecture; Communication Sciences (including but not limited to: Culture and Language for Communication, Communication and Psychology, Media Languages, Publishing, Communication and Information Sciences); Marketing; Management.
Candidates are invited to consult the Master Board if their study path doesen’t match with these categories. For foreign applicants, equivalent qualifications will be considered in their respective studies.

To take part to the selection process, the application form must be completed online within the following deadlines:
EU/ Non-EU who graduated in Italy / EU citizens with qualification gained abroad within January 22nd, 2024;
Non-EU citizens who graduated abroad within December 22nd, 2023.
The cost of the Specializing Master is 12.000 € (11.500 € participation fee + 500 € registration fee at Politecnico di Milano).
Companies can purchase the four specialization modules (Content Strategist, Digital PR & Reputation Manager, Digital ADV Specialist, Data Scientist) at a total cost of € 6,000 + VAT.
POLI.design offers the community of Politecnico di Milano a 50% discount to be applied to the participation fee for a I and II level Specializing Master or Higher Education Course / Post Graduate Program / Continuing Education Course which POLI.design manages and provides. The discount is for internal staff (i.e., structured teachers and technical and administrative staff) with active contracts at Politecnico di Milano and members of their household.

Sono disponibili n. 3 (tre) esoneri parziali del 25% dalla quota di partecipazione per la frequenza al Master universitario di I livello Design the Digital Strategy, anno 2024/2025.
COME CANDIDARSI
La richiesta dell’esonero parziale deve essere fatta a mezzo email all’indirizzo selezioni@polidesign.net. La candidatura e l’attribuzione degli esoneri parziali avviene durante il percorso di ammissione al Master e mai dopo la sua data di inizio. L’ammissione al Master è indipendente dall’eventuale assegnazione dell’esonero parziale.
SCADENZE PER LA COMUNICAZIONE DEGLI ESONERI PARZIALI
Le selezioni avverranno in ordine cronologico rispetto alla data di ricezione della domanda, fino ad esaurimento dei posti disponibili. L’assegnazione degli esoneri parziali avverrà durante il processo di selezione e ammissione al Master, e mai dopo la data di inizio delle attività didattiche.
Il termine ultimo per richiedere gli esoneri parziali è il giorno 24/09/2023 – 11.59 p.m. (GMT +1 – Italian time zone). Entro il 29/09/2023 solo i beneficiari dell’esonero parziale riceveranno comunicazione scritta. Il beneficiario dell’esonero parziale dovrà formalizzare, pena decadenza immediata, l’effettiva accettazione e iscrizione al Master effettuando il versamento dell’acconto così come previsto dalla Scrittura Privata entro e non oltre il 13/10/2023. L’iscrizione al Master si intende formalizzata con il versamento dell’acconto a POLI.design e con la sottoscrizione della scrittura privata.

POLI.design grants n. 3 (three) partial exemptions of 25% from the participation fee for the attendance to the Specializing Master in Design the Digital Strategy, year 2024/2025.
To request one of the partial exemptions, applicants must apply for the Specializing Master and submit a partial exemption request by email to selezioni@polidesign.net no later than 24/09/2023 – 11:59 p.m. (GMT +1 – Italian time zone).
