Executive Master in Fashion & Accessories Design

To train executive professional profiles aware of the profound transformations taking place in the fashion&accessories sector and capable of triggering innovation processes in companies in terms of organization of creative, managerial, commercial and communication processes.

Course

The Specializing Master will take place in China and will focus on fashion and accessories, from its historical evolution to design research methodologies and tools for exploring and understanding the fashion market, up to management techniques for complex projects/processes; they will be carried out through theoretical seminars and frontal lessons; each module will include a final learning verification in the form of an exercise or the presentation of a paper. It will also be given a broad focus on innovation of materials and technologies, with specific attention to the issue of sustainability, and a section will be dedicated to digital transformation within the Fashion industry.

Didactics

Training objectives

The cultural and scientific objective of the Master is the training of professional executive profiles aware of the deep transformations taking place in the fashion&accessories sector and able to trigger innovation processes in the companies in terms of organization of creative, managerial, commercial and communicative processes. These wider-ranging skills, which in companies are often acquired only after years of experience in different areas of the company, were also aimed at coping with the current phase of revision and reorganization, determined by the crisis conditions of the sector, in particular due to the pandemic.

 

Didactic Plan

The master is divided into frontal lectures that alternate with project activities and discussion of case studies. At the end of the course there is a professionalizing project that consists of an activity that will be defined with the commission of the master course.

Admission

Requirements

The Specializing Master is reserved to candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Design and Engineering, and in related humanistic and scientific disciplines, and to candidates with equivalent qualifications. Foreign candidates will be considered equivalent qualifications in their respective study systems.

The selection will be made by the Commission.
