Bio

Chiara Colombi is a Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano and a leading expert in design-driven innovation for the fashion system. At the Department of Design, she explores how design can transform fashion processes, business models, and value chains, with a focus on sustainability, digital transformation, and the evolution of creative industries. She was awarded the Compasso d’Oro ADI (Young Design). She is co-founder of the Fashion in Process Research Lab.

Her research and teaching bridge academia and industry, spanning European research projects, collaborations with global companies, and the development of innovative educational models in fashion-tech and design management. She has extensive experience in executive education and international programs, contributing to the training of future leaders in fashion and creative industries.

Through her work, she promotes a systemic and future-oriented approach to fashion, where design acts as a strategic driver of innovation and responsible transformation.
