Ph.D. cum laude in Design, è ricercatrice presso il Dipartimento di Design del Politecnico di Milano e docente presso la Scuola del Design del Politecnico di Milano. È docente a contratto nel programma FIT in Milan del Fashion Institute of Technology di NY e membro della faculty del consorzio Milano Fashion Institute. Al Milano Fashion Institute è vice-direttrice del Master in Product Sustainability Management. La sua attività di didattica e i progetti di ricerca su cui lavora si concentrano sulla moda contemporanea con un particolare focus sul design della maglieria e sulle tecnologie applicate a questo specifico settore, le tecniche realizzative manuali e tecnologicamente avanzate, la rappresentazione digitale.
Ph.D. cum laude in Design, she is Research Fellow at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano. As a faculty member she teaches at the School of Design of Politecnico di Milano, in the FIT in Milan program of the Fashion Institute of Technology (NY), and at Milano Fashion Institute. At MFI she is also vice-director of the Master in Product Sustainability Management.
Her teaching and research activity on contemporary fashion have a particular focus on knitwear and textile design: on the convergence of traditional manual techniques with advanced technologies, on the evolution of digital representation of textile products, on the enhancement of sustainable design, processes and products within this specific industrial sector.
