Bio
Chiara Annovazzi, PhD, is a Social Psychologist, researcher, and Career Counsellor specializing in gender issues, Life Design, career guidance, and decent work for all. She has been teaching Life Design at Politecnico di Milano since 2018 and coordinated the Life Design Psy Lab at the University of Milano-Bicocca from 2012 to 2023. She also leads tutoring and mentoring projects, including the International Tutorship (2018–2019) and a tutoring project for qualifying psychology degrees (since 2023–2024). She collaborates with Polis Lombardia, training local police officers on communication, stereotypes, gender-based violence, and psychological distress. In addition, she conducts workshops in high schools and universities on gender equity, resilience, career adaptability, and courage. Her research on gender equality and career development has been presented at both national and international levels, including at the Italian Senate (2023). She publishes widely on Life Design, public engagement, and vocational guidance. She is an elected member of the Italian Orientation Society and participates in international research groups such as IHRT and Uni.Co.
