S2P supports innovative startups, enhancing the fruits of research activity and promoting entrepreneurship. PoliHub (Technology Transfer Office of the Politecnico di Milano) and Deloitte’s Innovation Workshops manage the program. The application process is only open to teams of at least two people who belong to the following categories.

• Alumni and current students at Politecnico di Milano (studying for an undergraduate or Master’s degree, or taking a post-degree specialization course), at POLIMI Graduate School of Management (MBAs and EMBAs) or at POLI.design
• PhD research students and researchers
• Teaching staff at Politecnico di Milano

Members who are not part of Politecnico di Milano can join the team. However, it must meet the requirements of the call.

Researchers

Applying to S2P, it is possible to check the market potential of projects, find potential customers and companies that provide support in the test phase. In addition, it is a chance to raise funds and receive support in the technology transfer process to create a startup.

 Students

Applying to S2P, it is possible to create a startup and access funding to launch entrepreneurial projects to market. It is an opportunity to receive support to improve market access and support in the early stages of industrialization.

Participation in S2P is free of charge.
Candidates may submit their project by filling an online form, available at www.s2p.it, no later than July 8th, 2024, 11:59 pm CEST.

The first 90 selected ideas will have access to the Idea Development & Pitch Workshop – an opportunity to develop ideas and build an effective pitch. Then, projects will be presented to an Institutional Jury, who will select the best 45.

The 45 projects will access the Innovation Boost Program – a training and entrepreneurial empowerment course assessing the technological and business potential of the proposed idea. It is a way to define a concrete and solid development plan, focusing on business model, intellectual property, financials and pitch presentation.

An institutional jury will choose up to 25 finalist projects, and the best in each category will be awarded grants from PoliHub and Partners. PoliHub will invite teams to the customized four-month acceleration program by PoliHub, TTO and Deloitte with the support of dedicated mentors and experts.
