Bio

Architect and PhD in Design. Full Professor of Design at the School of Design at Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches Service Design and Innovation Theory. He is Director of the Specializing Master in Service Design at POLI.design, Consortium Company of Politecnico di Milano specialized in post-graduate training. He is also Director of Polifactory, the interdepartmental fab lab and makerspace of Politecnico di Milano. His research interests focus on service design innovation, new production-distribution models and advanced and distributed microproduction systems. He coordinates the Politecnico research teams working within the European funded projects REFLOW, DDMP and T-FACTOR. He was awarded with the XXII° Compasso D’Oro in Design Research for the Design Research Maps project.

 

 

Architetto e Dottore di Ricerca in Design. Professore Ordinario presso la Scuola del Design del Politecnico di Milano, dove insegna Service Design e Teoria dell’innovazione. È Direttore dello Specializing Master in Service Design presso POLI.design, Società Consortile del Politecnico di Milano specializzata nella formazione post laurea. È inoltre Direttore di Polifactory, fab lab interdipartimentale e makerspace del Politecnico di Milano. I suoi interessi di ricerca sono focalizzati sulla service design innovation, sui nuovi modelli di produzione-distribuzione delle merci e sui sistemi di microproduzione avanzata e distribuita. È Coordinatore dell’Unità Politecnica dei progetti REFLOW, DDMP e T-FACTOR. Per il progetto Design Research Maps è stato insignito con il XXII° Compasso D’Oro per la Ricerca di Design.
