Completed the second module of the Sayd'Signerssarawak- POLI.design Furniture Course project
POLI.design took one step further its collaboration with Malaysia-based Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC): from November 14 to 17, the second module of SayD’SignersSarawak – POLI.design Furniture Course project took place.
Following the online course held in January, Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi) Professor Luca Fois and Designer and Founder of Vinci Studio_Design and Research Vincenzo Vinci, with the scientific direction of the Dean of PoliMi Design School Francesco Zurlo run a new on-site Workshop in Kuching, Malaysia.
The aim of the four days long Workshop was to connect young Malaysian designers with internationally renowned experts in Furniture Design so to acquire the latest tools and methodologies, especially linked to the Italian contemporary production identity, better known as “Made in Italy”.
Following the participants will have the chance to exhibit the results of their work during the Milano Design Week taking place in April 2023, so to explore some of the world’s best Design locations and further promote Italy-Malaysia relations in the Furniture Design sector.
