The Specializing Master in Lighting Design & Technology Alumni winners of the LIT 2020 Emerging Lighting Designer of the Year award
Swathi Madhi, Luca Gregorini and Micaela Malusà are the winners of the LIT 2020 Emerging Lighting Designer of the Year award at the LIT Lighting Design Awards, the opportunity designed to recognize talented international lighting designers.
The lighting design project for an office located in Stockholm (Sweden) takes inspiration from Scandinavian architecture and the natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights, offering the visitor lighting that guides him through various areas of the building, characterized by different activities.
With colors and sinuous lines, the lighting imitates natural light to bring “the outside” inside the spaces that, at certain times of the year, do not receive natural light.
The students were followed in the development of the project by profs. Carlo D’Alesio and Giovanna Piccinno.
